Dr. Saucedo has been a passionate advocate for addressing social inequities in our health systems and is committed to connecting multicultural communities with forward-thinking, data-driven healthcare solutions. He founded Resilient Health, a high-quality virtual care platform for justice-involved individuals to help provide care for this vulnerable group of individuals. He also founded Resilient Community Health, a non-profit to support health equity and connect care and resources in underserved communities to improve conditions, lives and health outcomes.
Being a data scientist, clinical informaticist, and practicing physician serving on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Saucedo is considered a leading-edge COVID-19 pandemic expert and is actively engaged in building cutting-edge tech-enabled solutions involving the complex care of hard-to-reach and hard-to-manage patients. He has an extensive track record of inciting rapid revenue and volume growth in various settings — telemedicine, primary care, urgent care, and multi-specialty business development — and specializes in enterprise-wide healthcare system operations and Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) implementation and optimization strategies aimed at improving the quality and delivery of patient care.
Having held several leadership roles as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer, Vice President of Business Development and Family Medicine Faculty at several renowned healthcare organizations, Dr. Saucedo has served as an advisor to more than a dozen health tech startups, leading them through both early and late-stage capital and platform development. Dr. Saucedo currently acts as an advisor to Harmony Health, HealthTech Capital and SkyDeck, UC Berkeley's start-up incubator and accelerator. Dr. Saucedo is also a participant of The Medical Society Consortium Fellowship focused on advancing a clean energy future in a region that has experienced systemic racial and climate injustice.
Dr. Saucedo received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Mary's College of California. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and fellowship trained in OB/GYN.
